Remigius Hiking Trail

The Remigius Hiking Trail is named after Saint Remigius, Bishop of Reims, after whom the Remigius Church, part of a monastery complex of the former Benedictine provostry of St. Remigii Remigiusberg, was named.

The path runs through the Remigiusland, which the Frankish king Childebert II, a great-grandson of the Frankish king Clovis, gave to the diocese of Reims.

The Remigius hiking trail is another quality hiking trail with a length of around 40 km.

It starts in the district town of Kusel and ends at Selberg near Rothselberg. From there, you can reach the small town of Wolfstein via the Pfälzer Höhenweg, around 5 km away.
Your hike will take you high up to the Potzberg and Königsberg and take your time, as there are numerous benches and rest stops along the way.
The trail can be hiked in three stages and is accessible all year round.
