The third stage takes you over 12 km from the beautiful Glan Valley to the heights of the Palatinate Mountains and into the idyllic Lauter Valley. Narrow paths, small farming villages between the hills and varied landscapes characterise the stage. On the
Veldenz hiking trail crosses the long-distance hiking trail Pfälzer Höhenweg and continues down into the valley to the stage destination Reckweilerhof.
